Some information to help you with your COVID PCR test. We are only accepting PCR tests.
Some facts to help you with your COVID PCR negative test result:
Travelers to the Turks and Caicos Islands may experience delays in travel due to border closures, such as airport closures, travel prohibitions and other emergency conditions, either due to COVID19 restrictions or to the threats of hurricane or tropical storms or other natural or manmade emergencies.
When these delays occur, your travel authorization may expire prior to your intended arrival in the islands. In such cases, the Government of the Turks and Caicos is not liable for any losses you may experience due to these occurrences.
If your travel authorization is expired, you are not guaranteed a waiver to travel on another date, if your COVID 19 PCR negative test result is outside of the 5 day travel window allowed by law.
If your travel authorization is expired, in order to visit the islands you will need to secure another COVID 19 PCR negative test result and make a new application for travel authorization.
In accordance with international travel requirements all persons returning to the US, Canada, and UK must have a COVID test result completed for pre-arrival. Please note that all travelers must be aware that, in the case of a positive test, the cost of a quarantine period of up to 14-days and other medical costs, as necessary; is the responsibility of the traveler. Therefore, please be mindful of the quarantine and other coverage provided by your insurance policy as a requirement to travel to the Turks and Caicos Islands and amend as needed to ensure adequate coverage.
The Turks and Caicos Islands has expanded our testing capacity in response to new testing requirements by CDC and Governments of USA, United Kingdom and Canada. Please see the following list of possible test sites in the Turks and Caicos that are certified for testing for travel:
